Zalew Zegrzyński located just 30 km north from Warsaw offers many summer sports activities. When the winds are strong enough (spring and fall), you can try kite-surfing or sailing. Many visit the place at the sunny weekends to catch some sun, so it can get crowdie and the kitesurfers are not allowed to kite near the beach. During summer rental shops open offering jet-ski and water-ski rides.

Just recently a new beach has been opened at the west river bank at the Saska Kepa district. Tones of fresh sand has been brought here to recreate a popular city beach from the 70's. Near the beach there is also a water tram stop.
Soon new bathing places will be open.
